Terms and Conditions

Our terms and conditions are set out for the safety and enjoyment of all guests staying at Jasmine Court Motel.

Check In/Check Out Times

  • Check-in is from 2.00 pm on the day of arrival.
  • Check out is prior to 10.00 am on the day of departure.
  • Late check-outs will incur a charge of $50 per hour.
  • Please note that only one car park per unit is provided.

Reception Hours

  • Reception hours are from 7.30 am till 8.30 pm daily
  • If you need to arrive outside of these hours, please contact us during office hours to make arrangements to get your key.

Bookings

  • All bookings made in person or over the phone require a valid credit card number and expiry to confirm the reservation. These details are held for security purposes on file and we do not charge the card until your arrival.
  • At times (particularly during peak season) the need arises to specify a minimum stay period. We will communicate this to you at the time of booking if this is the case for your booking period.
  • A request (particularly during peak season) to reduce the length of a stay of an existing reservation may result in the reservation no longer being accepted. We go to great lengths to avoid this and will communicate this to you (at the time you request the change) if this is the case for your request.

Cancellations and Refunds

Individual reservations:

  • A full refund can be made when more than 48 hours of cancellation notice is given.
  • Reservations cancelled within 48 hours of arrival will incur a cancellation fee equal to one night’s accommodation.
  • Multi-night stays that are cut short on arrival may be charged a further night’s tariff in the instance that the room cannot be re-let.
  • In the case of a ‘no show’ (that is if you simply do not show up), the full amount of the reservation will be charged.

Group reservations:

The following cancellation notice is required:

  • 48 hours for small bookings (1-3 units).
  • 5 days for (4-5 units)
  • 14 days for (6-10 Units)
  • 21 days for (11+units)
  • Failure to cancel within the abovementioned timeframes will incur 100% for the first night and 20% for each consecutive night booked.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours of arrive or for no-shows will be charged for the full stay.

Payment

  • Payment for accommodation is to be made on arrival.
  • We accept all major credit cards including Visa, MasterCard and EFTPOS.
  • When paying by credit card, a surcharge of 3% will be applied.

Damage

  • Any damage to the room or property will be charged at replacement cost, plus loss of income charges (while the room is out of action), where applicable.
  • All our rooms are designated non-smoking. If you smoke in your unit, they will be charged for cleaning costs, plus loss of income charges (while the room is out of action), where applicable.

Animals

  • Pets are not permitted on the property except for Guide Dogs by prior arrangement.
  • Guests arriving with pets at the motel cannot be accommodated.
  • If animals are found to be on the Property, Management reserve the right to apply a penalty charge for cleaning costs, plus loss of income charges where applicable, while the room is out of action.

Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. It is Jasmine Court Motel’s policy to respect your privacy regarding any information we may collect from you across our website jasminecourt.co.nz.

We only ask for personal information when we truly need it to provide a service to you. We collect it by fair and lawful means, with your knowledge and consent. We also let you know why we’re collecting it and how it will be used.

 

Collection Of Information

In order to utilise some aspects of this website, we may require you to provide a certain amount of information. This includes information required to create an ID (such as your name and email address). We use this information to provide you with a service or a better online experience.

We do not collect and analyse any aggregate information about our site users. This includes such things as what time of day they visit the site, what browser they use and what pages they visit. No personal or other information that may be used to identify you is in any way collected.

We log all activity and maintain audit trails of usage of this site. We use this information in the detection and prevention of fraud and other malicious activities.

We will not send a “spam” or unsolicited email or SMS, nor will we provide your details to a third party under any circumstances.
